Our Mission
Our Primary Mission - In accordance with our vocation, the primary mission of this ministry is to, after careful prayer and discernment, conduct research projects that could potentially benefit the people of the Appalachian region of the United States.
Our Secondary Mission - In accordance with our vocation, the secondary mission of this ministry is to, after careful prayer and discernment, actively serve the Appalachian region of the United States based on our findings from the aforementioned research projects.
Our Tertiary Mission - In accordance with our vocation, the tertiary mission of this ministry is to, after careful prayer and discernment, offer religious education and evangelism on behalf of the Catholic Church in the Appalachian region of the United States.
Our Values
​#1 - Christ Centeredness - Our entire apostolate is centered around Jesus Christ and his Catholic Church. We acknowledge that none of this would be possible without the mercy and grace of God, and therefore every pillar of this organization should serve to build God's kingdom on Earth through service to others. Everything we do must be pleasing to the Lord, bringing him great glory.
#2 - Integrity - It should go without saying that a Christian organization has strong moral principles. We hold true to the pillars of our faith, trusting that the work we do is truly the Lord's work, and acknowledging the inherent worth and dignity of all we serve. When it comes to data provided, we ensure honest and accurate results.
#3 - Honesty - Our work is based in God's will for us, and so it must be based in truth. We pledge to be honest in all that we do, represent information accurately, and engage in our advocacy, outreach, and data provision in an open and transparent manner.
#4 - Accountability - We are not only accountable to others for the work that we do and the information that we provide, but we are also accountable to the Lord. With this, we strive to provide the most honest and accurate results.
#5 - Humility - We reject prideful notions of bragging or boasting about our work. There is great humility in serving those who are in need, and we must always remind ourselves that it is through God that we accomplish these things, not ourselves.
#6 - Excellence - We strive for excellence in all that we do. The Lord's will is not a simple task to be completed, but good and holy work to be done well. We will do our absolute best to get the job done right.
#7 - Independence - We believe that one's faith should dictate their ideology, not the other way around. We outright reject the platforms of all primary and third parties, acknowledging that God's will does not perfectly fit within any of these frameworks. In doing so, we remain objective in our research, not buying into partisan politics, and seeking only the truth.
